The general objectives of PESI GSP are the following:

1. To carry out strategic and transversal actions in order to reduce the environmental and social impact of the Department of Safety and Prevention.
2. To introduce sustainable, environmental and social criteria in the purchase and contracting of products and public services (energy improvements, water savings, waste reduction, fulfilment of OIT standards, etc.).
3. To encourage the spread of a culture of sustainability across the organization in order to bring about behaviour that's more environmentally friendly and socially responsible.
4. To develop the Plan in a coordinated manner, together with Compromís 22's strategic actions for sustainability and city policy, and in coordination with the other departments of the organisation.
